Tesla is the only manufacturer that produces a complete residential energy ecosystem: generation, storage, electric vehicle charging, and a single monitoring application that ties them together. As a Tesla Certified Installer, we design and deploy that ecosystem for homes throughout Southern California, from single Powerwall additions on existing solar systems to full Tesla Solar Roof installations on new construction.
The advantage of the Tesla ecosystem is coordination. Solar production, battery storage, vehicle charging, and grid interaction are all governed by one system. There are no translation layers between manufacturers. Settings change in one place. Updates arrive over the air. The owner sees a single, coherent view of their home's energy.

The product that redefined home backup
Tesla Powerwall is a wall mounted home battery that stores energy from the grid or from solar production and delivers it back during outages, peak utility hours, or as part of a whole home Storm Watch event. Multiple units stack seamlessly, allowing systems to scale from essential loads coverage to full whole home backup of large residences.
We design every Powerwall installation around the home's actual load profile, not a generic specification. Whole home backup is achievable in nearly every residence we work with, but it depends on careful coordination with the electrical service, the existing generator if present, and the future EV charging plan.
The roof is the system
Tesla Solar Roof replaces conventional roofing materials with interlocking solar tiles. For new construction and major remodels where re roofing is already part of the scope, Solar Roof collapses two budgets into one and eliminates the question of how solar will be visually integrated with the architecture. The roof is finished, the solar is invisible, and the system arrives as a single, coherent piece of the building.
Solar Roof requires close coordination with the architect, the framer, and the general contractor. We have done this work across Southern California's most demanding architectural projects and know how to bring it to inspection without surprise.
Four ways our clients use the Tesla ecosystem
Outage resilience
One or two Powerwalls cover essential loads (lighting, refrigeration, network, a few outlets) through the multi day grid events California now experiences with regularity. Quiet, automatic, invisible.
Whole home backup
Three or more Powerwalls, sized to the home's full electrical load, allow the entire residence to run on stored solar through extended outages without the noise, fuel, or maintenance of a generator.
Time of use arbitrage
California utilities now charge several times more for evening electricity than for daytime electricity. A Powerwall stores midday solar and discharges it across the evening peak, materially shifting the economics of a solar system.
Grid independence
For properties where reliable grid power is not assumed (rural, off grid, or simply prudent), a properly sized Tesla system delivers practical grid independence without the historical compromises of off grid living.
The grid is no longer the only option
California's grid faces planned shutoffs, weather events, and rate structures that change faster than they used to. A well designed Tesla solar and storage system gives a property its own answer to all three: power that is generated on site, stored on site, and managed through a single application by the owner who paid for it. That is a different relationship with energy than the one most Californians inherited.
